The Patriotic Layered Drink and The Blue Lagoon
Memorial weekend is almost here! Most people have some sort of gathering or celebration so for Thirsty Thursday I am bringing you 2 drinks today – one for kids; one for adults – The Patriotic Layered Drink and The Blue Lagoon! Both perfect for your Memorial Day Pool Party, BBQ , picnic at the beach or just chilling at home!
Let’s start with the kid’s drink. It’s the Patriotic Layered Drink and boy, does this look cool!
Patriotic Layered Drink
A layered drink in red, white, and blue- perfect for Memorial Day!
- 1 Cup Red CranApple juice
- 1 Cup White Sobe Pina Colada flavored drink
- 1 Cup Blue G2 Gatorade
- Ice
- Fill your glass 1/3 of the way full with CranApple juice.
- Fill to the top with ice.
- Slowly pour the remaining drinks directly on top of a piece of ice.
You MUST pour SLOWLY, DIRECTLY over ice

Now for the adult drink:
The Blue Lagoon
Ingredients:
2 oz Vodka
1 oz Blue Curacao
Lemonade
Ice
Cherry, for garnish
In a highball glass, add ice in the bottom (quantity depends on you). Pour in the vodka and Blue Curacao over the ice. Now fill the glass with lemonade and mix all the ingredients properly. Put a cherry on top for garnish and serve chilled. Enjoy!
